A short report on the weekend meet at manse barn. saturdays weather forcast put a bit of a dampner on the meet but it didnt stop it by any means. florian, alika and jules headed up on friday as arranged. on saturday they met with florians friend guito and his girlfriend, they then proceeded to walk up the pap of glencoe, a big well done to jules for completing this so sone after his fall. i headed up on saturday afternoon, i was going to do beinn a chrulaiste, but with the low cloud and snow when i arrived i opted for a pint at the clachaig. it wasnt long before i was joined by florian, alika and jules.
saturday night saw, myself, jules, jim, harry, aaron and karinh at the hut. sunday aaron and jules headed up to the mamores, aaron looking for some " quality winter days " for his up and coming winter ml coarse. myself, harry, jim, karin and karins mate colin headed to the ben for an attempt at climbing white lines. jim had to head back for his helmet so me and harry headed up with the intention of meeting the other three at the start of the climb. it was pretty busy at the start of white lines so me and harry headed up glover chimney, karin and colin arrived as i was belaying harry on the first pitch. they told me jim didnt fancy the walk into white lines and instead he headed up number three gully. me and harry completed glovers chimney, i enjoyed the chimney, but not the irish guy who almost landed on me at the tower gap !! karin and colin eventually completed white lines, 7 pitches and being a little held up by a couple of parties in front of them.
